The District held its first "It's My Park Day" event on Saturday, November 2nd. 

A BIG thank you to the volunteers who helped us spread over 60 lbs. of wildflower seed at the Alderman Trailway and Whitter Pond Park.  The volunteers also picked up an entire truck bed full of trash.  Thank you to the Austin Parks Foundation for awarding us a $250 mini-grant to offset the costs of the event.
